While there is definitely an uproar of add-on developers calling it quits and retiring from the Kodi community, a massive amount in fact; there are still several that will either continue, temporarily shutdown or even have a complete makeover.

There is no need to panic as changes in the Kodi environment are going to occur and we will all adjust.

There is early indication that Noobs and Nerds is still alive and updating their repository and iStream has stated they are hanging around for now as well.

More Power also has hinted that it will find a new home since Phoenix has shut down.   Other sub add-ons that were under the super popular Phoenix add-ons may also return as separate add-ons or begin work with other developers.

The very good and popular Zen add-on also has not made any indications it will stop updating the add-on at this time as well.

It will be different over the next several weeks and many of your streaming habits is quite possibly going to suffer because of it.

Once the storm is over we will all resume with what is then available and adjust accordingly.   All add-ons that decide to continue, change names  or locations will be announced here in the coming weeks.

What Add-ons Will Not Shutdown Development?

Keep all your Kodi streaming a secret! The USA Senate and the House voted to repeal the FCC internet privacy laws which gives your ISP full authority to view and sale your streaming and browsing history.  I recommend using IPVanish VPN to protect your privacy.

IPVanish VPN will also unlock GEO Restrictions from all Kodi add-ons, stop ISP spying and throttling, work on 5 devices at once and keep zero logs of history.
